20/40

Pioneers’ 20/40 Program provides employment opportunities for selected individuals to become registered nurses. To be considered for the program, candidates must be enrolled full-time in a local RN program and meet specific criteria determined by the District’s administration.

Selected candidates work part-time in a regularly assigned position with Pioneers (full-time during school vacations), and receive full-time compensation and benefits while enrolled in the nursing program. Upon graduation and receipt of a state RN license, the employee must be able to make a commitment to remain in the full-time employment of PMHD for the timeframe designated in the 20/40 agreement.
